Loot is distributed with a 3-5 man loot council setup. Priority is given to dps over tanks and heals unless BFA actually requires tanks to have gear. We do our best to be as fair as possible taking attendance, performance, seniority and more into account on handing out loot. Trials will have a lower priority on gear.
Our standard trial period will last one month of raiding. Raid slots and gear will be given a lower priority compared to core positions but expect to be in on all fights and know the mechanics. Our goal over the month period is to make sure you are a good match performance-wise as well as personality for a long term match for the guild. Typically at the end of every raid week we will do a trial review and a full review at the end of the month.
Our goal in a Spartans raid consists of many factors. We do not want a toxic atmosphere in anyway shape or form. There will be no yelling or raging at people. If a person is creating nonsense drama or cant keep mostly quiet during pulls they will be dealt with on a case by case basis. If a person or group of people cannot perform to the standards we are trying to set, they will be given a warning to fix the issue before replacement on that encounter or raid. We need people focusing strictly on their role to be able to progress at the pace we are aiming for. That all being said, we strive to have one of the best raiding environments around. At the end of the day this is one of the best games out there and there is no reason we cant enjoy progression. Most of us are twenty to thirty years old by now and do not want to deal with unnecessary drama. Outside of raid and between pulls are fully open for all the sarcasm and jokes. During pull the only voices that should be heard are officers and tanks unless specific mechanics require call-outs.
Live up to the highest standards… Raid day and Every Day
PUSHES their character to its limits.
(Know your class inside and out.)
MASTERS their emotions.
(Do not yell, scream, or berate other players. If there is a problem, find an officer.)
(Mistakes happen… fix them and move on. If a mistake is not fixed, expect consequences.)
(You represent Spartans’. Act accordingly)
PROVES themselves through actions, not words.
(Give 100% during raids. Come prepared, on time, with knowledge of the fight and a positive attitude. Life happens.. if you can’t make a raid let us know.)
LIVES every day as if it were their last.
(MOST IMPORTANTLY… HAVE FUN!!!!)
